Our story
During five stays (5 ½ months in total) in Mauritius within the last three years since 2022, the founder saw a lot of potential to help strays, pets, and owners of houses or apartments for a more comfortable life.
Mauritius is home to an estimated 250,000 stray animals, many of which suffer from neglect, disease, abuse, or accidents. While some receive care from kind-hearted individuals, the broader population often lacks awareness around responsible pet ownership, animal health, and humane treatment. Ginkgolive Ltd seeks to address this gap through active education, professional services, and public engagement — empowering individuals and communities with the tools to value and care for animals ethically and knowledgeably.
We believe, that animals are family members and that a peaceful, well-designed home benefits both humans and animals alike. By delivering expert care, stress-free support, and thoughtful educational outreach, Ginkgolive Ltd aims to become a trusted partner in promoting animal welfare, responsible living, and long-term quality of life across Mauritius.
